House of Paws serves desserts and beverages, which you can consume while playing with the owner’s pet dogs. Located in the heart of the Thai capital, the stylish Bangkok dog cafe also offers canine grooming services.
House of Paws Dog Pack
A variety of breeds is represented in this well-groomed dog pack. For example, there are corgis, samoyeds, an alaskan malamute, a Shetland sheepdog, a beagle, a Pomeranian, and huskies.
The dogs’ coats were smooth as silk. What is more, the cafe didn’t smell. The last time I visited a cat’s enclave, the odor was overpowering. In fact, I couldn’t wait to get out!
When I asked about this, I was told that staff groomed daily. Also, they showered once a week. Not only that, they take the dogs for a walk outside the cafe once every two hours.
At end end of a long day, some of the puppies were tuckered out and wanted nothing more than a good snooze.
But don’t think you can take your own dog there. Instead, the owners of the cafe bring several of their well-behaved canines to the establishment each day. And puppy fans are free to pet them and play with them.
Most surprisingly, the puppies didn’t beg for food.
We were able to consume our yummy desserts and beverages without being tormented by pleading eyes begging for a bite.
However, as the above picture demonstrates, the dogs won’t refuse a bite if you offer them one.
Interestingly, none of the dogs were yappy. There was hardly a bark, yelp, woof, arf, snarl, or howl during our very enjoyable stay.

House of Paws Dog Cafe Menu
There is no charge to enter the popular dog cafe. However, visitors are expected to order a beverage and a dessert.
Since the cafe serves mouth-watering treats that were hard to resist, we didn’t.
The three of us shared two pieces of cake and a pudding. In addition, we washed them down with an espresso, iced coffee, and iced tea.
House of Paws Souvenirs
If you’re watching your weight, you can forgo one of the sweets. Otherwise, you can purchase a souvenir with a canine theme to take home.
Bangkok Dog Cafe – the Verdict
I was taken to the cafe by a couple of old friends, who happened to be visiting Bangkok at the same time I was.
The three of us totally enjoyed our visit. In addition, I was touched when one of the employees said to me, “I hope you will come every day!”
Was it me or my camera that tickled his fancy?
Although I wish that I could, I was headed to Pattaya the next day. And after that, it was back to Hong Kong. But maybe on my next trip to the Big Mango?
